Turn The Page is excited to announce our First Annual Burger and Band Bash on Thursday, October 11 from 6 until 9 pm in the evening.

Your $100 ticket includes dinner designed by chefs from Fortunato, River & Rail and Blue Ridge Catering and drink tickets for beer or wine. One of a kind book themed cocktails will be available for purchase at cash bar. We are featuring live music by JP Powell from My Radio.  

Local Artist Maria Driscoll will also be auctioning a painting created during the event.Join friends and colleagues for a beautiful evening under the stars, and help us transform families one page at a time.

All proceeds go to benefit Turn the Page and will purchase books for local children.

Bring your imaginations and your check books!

Last year Early Literacy project at Hollins University received a grant to print five thousand copies of Four Fur Feet for Turn the Page to distribute to new parents at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The story is by Margaret Wise Brown, illustrated by Ruth Sanderson, co-director of Hollins MFA in Children’s Book Writing and Illustrating.

Artist Ruth Sanderson will be signing copies of her Four Fur Feet board book and there will be a silent auction of original art, prints, and signed books by children’s book author/illustrators.
